Technip said the pipes would be used to renew the flexible pipe-based infrastructure on the Norwegian operator’s fields. The deal also includes options for further risers and flowlines.
The contract will be carried out by Technip’s operating centre in Oslo between 2014 and 2016. The contract options, if exercised, are scheduled for completion in 2017.
The company’s Flexi France facility in Le Trait, France, will manufacture the risers.
