French engineering giant Technip has been awarded a service contract by state-run Socar at a gas and petrochemical complex in Azerbaijan.
Technip was awarded a contract for the cryomax technology licence for the natural gas liquid section of a gas processing plant which is part of the complex in Garadagh.
Technip also revealed Wednesday it had been awarded a contract for the development of the process and engineering design of all the process units included in the gas and petrochemical plant, as well as the design of the related utilities and off-sites.
