Swedish player Tethys Oil has struck oil with a successful exploration well drilled on its onshore Raseiniai licence in Lithuania.
The Tidikas-1 probe hit a combined oil column of almost 50 metres in two separate limestone formations after being drilled to a measured depth of 1413 metres into Cambrian sandstone and also flowed oil to the surface, the London-listed explorer said in a statement.
