Geophysical giant TGS has made available what it claims is the oil industry's most comprehensive well database in the Permian basin.
Chief executive Kristian Johansen said the "substantial completion" of the database is well timed, as acquisition and divestment activity continues to ramp up in one of the world's hottest oil provinces.
"This information will allow operators to better assess the positions available in the basin, prepare for A&D activity, and ensure the safe, reliable, and optimal production of their acreage positions," he said.
