The 2014-built unit was contracted from March through July, and was listed as available as of a Maersk fleet status report on 1 July.
Total, however, has remained mum on the results of the Atlantic Margin well which spud in March, not responding to an Upstream request for comment.
The well was notable not only its frontier nature but also its depth — the target is in 11,190 feet (3411 metres) of water, among the deepest to be drilled globally.
