Total said on Wednesday that the onshore field, its first operated development in the South American country, has a production capacity of 50,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
The first phase of the field development involved three wells, a gas treatment plant and 100 kilometres of associated export pipelines.
The second phase of development, involving three further wells, is currently "under consideration", Total said.
