Transerv's preliminary interpretation of logs revealed the presence of a 315.5 metre gas interval from 4147 metres to 4462.5 meters.
The company added the logs also showed the presence of hydrocarbon bearing sands between 4483 metres and 4520 metres.
Warro-6 has also boosted the commercial potential of the Warro field with the possibility of further deeper gas as the well was still in gas pay when it reached total depth.
