The offshore India contract with Reliance Industries for the drillship Dhirubhai Deepwater KG2 has been extended by three months for a dayrate of $295,000. That is $100,000 less than the previous contract.
The new contract will expire in October.
Meanwhile, the Norwegian North Sea contract with Shell for the semi-submersible Transocean Barents has been extended for one well and is expected to expire in September.
