Rowley dismissed Nicole Olivierre who had been on the job for about one year with Franklin Khan, who had previously served in technical and executive roles with state-controlled Petrotrin and in the private oil and gas sector.
Before taking the energy minister’s job, Olivierre worked with Trinidad’s National Gas Company (NGC) for 12 years, including working on the negotiations for contracts covering Train 4 at the Atlantic LNG facility.
