The London-based company confirmed on Thursday it had taken the decision to exit Norway, only three years after entering the country through its acquisition of local player Spring Energy in 2013.
The UK independent holds 34 exploration and development licences in Norway, including a 20% stake in the OMV-operated Wisting Central discovery in the Barents Sea that could now be picked up by licence partner Statoil.
