Turmoil axes Sistema’s $191m Bashneft buy

The arrest of its chairman and continued uncertainty over the financial footing of the company has scuppered Russian conglomerate Sistema’s proposed $191 million purchase of petrochemical assets from subsidiary oil player Bashneft.
