The Infrastructure Bill is at the so-called 'ping pong' stage in which the upper House of Lords is considering changes to the bill that were passed by the lower House of Commons last month.
At the last stage members of parliament voted in favour of 13 new conditions introduced by Labour that must be met before fracking can take place.
The changes would implement a full ban on fracking in national parks, areas of outstanding natural beauty and protected groundwater areas.
