Ultra Deep Group has signed up for the single Red Class 6027 MT design unit at the Shenzhen-based builder, it said on Wednesday.
No contract price was disclosed for the vessel that is slated for delivery in the first quarter of 2018. There was no mention of optional contracts.
At 143 metres long and with deck space of 1500 square metres, this is the largest such unit Ultra Deep has on order.
