When drilling of that well was finished, which Urals said would be before the end of May 2012, the company would consider its future drilling plans.
This could include drilling new wells in the southern part of the Okruzhnoye field as well as a potential restart of drilling on well 51, the company said.
Urals suspended drilling on well 51 at Petrosakh is September 2011 after encountering difficult geological conditions while trying to run a production string, and after a parallel well failed due to difficult drilling conditions.
