The contract was awarded by the project's upstream operator Origin Energy and will see Valmec provide specialist technicians, equipment and parts as part of its preventative and corrective maintenance services.
The contract is estimated to be worth A$24 million (US$17.1 million) to Valmec over the initial two-year period and carries options to extend for a further two years.
Valmec said Tuesday said service works under the contract were expected to start immediately and would be managed from its office in Dalby, Queensland.
