Vantage hit with $1m fine

The US state of Pennsylvania has fined Colorado-based Vantage Energy almost $1 million for more than a dozen environmental violations at a well pad in Greene County earlier this year in one of the biggest penalties levied against a Marcellus shale operator this year.
