Venoco said that the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware gave its plan the green light, “clearing the way to officially emerge from the restructuring process later this month”.
The Denver, Colorado-based player filed a voluntary petition for reorganisation with the court in March to eliminate about $1 billion of debt from its balance sheet. The plan approved by the court eliminated that debt.
