Aker BP has started up production at its Ivar Aasen development in the Norwegian North Sea, just days before the end of the year.
The operator said that output from the development started on 24 December, but did not mention what the initial rate of production is.
Start-up is “according to the plan and the development is completed within budget,” Aker BP said.
