The 13,900-tonne integrated deck is now primed for sailaway after being handed over at a ceremony at the weekend, with the Norwegian operator stating the facility was completed on schedule and on budget.
SembCorp Marine subsidiary SMOE has built the process, drilling and living quarters topsides under a S$900 million ($652 million) contract awarded in early 2013, with engineering carried out by yard partner Wood Group Mustang on the fabrication project.
