The layups will begin in the fourth quarter of 2015 "onwards".
Vroon plans to stack five platform-supply vessels, and seven emergency response and rescue vessels (ERRV) will enter long-term lay-up, Vroon said, without specifying which specific vessels or particular areas of operation. Its operations are focussed in the North Sea, Mediterranean and South-East Asia.
"A number of older ERRVs are being divested for recycling purposes," Vroon said.
