The company reversed a previous $23.8 million impairment on its books related to the Tanzania gas project, leading it to book a net profit of $15.28 million for 2014 versus a $9.99 million loss the year before.
The company said the new Government-owned Mtwara to Dar es Salaam pipeline and gas processing facilities “are nearly complete with delivery of first gas for commissioning anticipated to occur in April”.
