West Epsilon heads for Froy

Smedvig’s jack-up rig West Epsilon is being chartered by TotalFinaElf on a 280-day sublet from Statoil to start well plugging and abandonment work on the North Sea Froy field. Oil production on the Froy field was permanently closed down in March.
