Williams now plans to have Constitution up and running in the second half of 2017, instead of the fourth quarter 2016, after it failed to receive environmental approvals from New York state regulators as well as the Army Corps of Engineers regarding water quality and tree removal issues.

Once complete, the 124-mile pipeline will carry about 650 million cubic feet of natural gas per day from Pennsylvania to Scoharie County, New York, where it will hook into the existing Iroquois Gas Transmission and Tennessee Gas Pipeline systems.
