Hua was sentenced to three years in jail and, with an expected release date of the fourth quarter next year due to time already served, is not appealing the conviction, Hong Kong-listed Wison said.
Wison was itself fined 30 million Chinese yuan ($4.83 million) on foot of being found guilty on a bribery charge, although both it and Hua were acquitted of a second charge of conspiracy to commit a tender offer fraud.
