The HBWS fields are in shallow water and will be developed using extended reach wells drilled from an onshore location. Gas will then be transported from the drill site via two sections of onshore pipeline totalling about 10 kilometres to the Otway gas plant.
Wood Group Kenny's workscope includes the detailed design of onshore raw gas and mono-ethylene glycol pipelines from the onshore wellpad to the Otway gas plant.
