Wood Group GTS, as part of a joint venture with KaxTurboRemont, has been awarded a long-term service agreement with the North Caspian Production Operating Company.
The joint venture will provide support for the critical rotating equipment at the Kashagan project.
Wood Group GTS president power plant services Frank Avery said the joint venture was offering 24-hour support.
The contract will last for eight years with further extension options and covers the supply of parts, repairs, planned maintenance and supervisors in the country.
