The Australian operator said in its results report today that the 2017 drilling campaign will comprise four firm wells and two contingent wells, subject to joint venture and government approvals.
It is understood two appraisal wells and two exploration wells will be drilled in Blocks AD-7 and A-6.
Woodside believes the discoveries at ShweYee Htun-1 and Thalin-1A contain 2.4 trillion cubic feet of gas on a proven and probable gross basis.
