Don Wolcott and Joe Mach, who both voted in favour of Worldview Capital Management’s bid to force management changes at the explorer, have now resigned as non-executive directors, Petroceltic said.
Worldview Capital Management accused the Petroceltic board of “failing to recognise and benefit from the significant value and experience they brought as world class oil and gas executives”.
The activist investor put forward a series of resolutions that sought to oust Petroceltic chief executive Brian O'Cathain and install two of its nominees to the company's board, but the measures were rejected by the Dublin- and London-listed company's shareholders.
