Australian engineering house WorleyParsons suffered a net loss of A$2.4 million (US$1.8 million) for the six months ended 31 December 2016 amid a 35% drop in revenue, but indicated that customer sentiment is improving.

Revenue for the second half of 2016 was A$2.7 billion. In the corresponding half year, net profit was A$23.1 million and revenue A$4.1 billion.
