The fire burned 36 oil and produced water tanks on a six-well pad in the Gallup tight oil play near the town of Nageezi in San Juan County, WPX said.
“Small fires” continue to burn in four of the tanks and crews continue to monitor the blaze while they wait for it to burn out, WPX said in its latest update.
