Wire services report a Sinopec company newsletter as saying the Yuanba 21 well had shown it was capable of producing 507,000 cubic metres of gas per day after completion of a recent testing period.
The well was the latest in a series to be drilled at the field ahead of Sinopec putting together an official resource estimate and overall development plan.
