Four exciting ventures spring to mind: Santos' infill drilling programme at the Bayu-Undan field; Carnarvon Petroleum’s planned appraisal/development well at the offshore Buffalo oilfield; Timor Resources’ planned multi-well onshore exploration campaign; and bid submissions for the country’s second exploration licensing round, which involves seven onshore and 11 offshore blocks.
