McDermott International has appointed a new Asia Pacific boss to lead all of the US contractor's activities in the region.
Mahesh Swaminathan has been appointed senior vice president of its Asia Pacific region.
Swaminathan succeeds Ian Prescott who is leaving McDermott to return to Australia.
“I am confident that Mahesh’s customer-focused approach will continue to bring value to our customers and organisation,” said McDermott chief executive David Dickson.
Understands the challenges

Industry veteran Swaminathan has more than 28 years of operational, commercial and project leadership in the upstream energy sector across Asia, Australia, Middle East and Europe.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering, a post-graduate diploma in project management and a Master of Science and Law.
