Michael McWalter witnessed the highs and lows of Papua New Guinea’s evolution as a nation and petroleum player during his 42 years in its oil and gas industry.
Newly retired, he can look back on a career in which he made a huge contribution to the development of good petroleum governance in the country.
Born and raised in England, McWalter has called PNG home for nearly 46 years and in retirement intends to return there frequently.
