Mubadala Petroleum is bringing an element of cheer to sick children in Thailand with presents of teddy bears.

The United Arab Emirates-based operator recently handed the toy bears and money to the Cardiac Children Foundation of Thailand, a charitable organisation in the country, where it has upstream interests.

Mubadala Thailand officials last week presented the monetary support and handmade teddy bears and bags that were made and decorated by local staff to support the paediatric heart surgery charity.

They teddy bears and bags were then sent as gifts to underprivileged children who are currently recovering in hospital in the hope that the gesture will encourage them in their fight against their condition.
