The sentencing of UK oil services company Petrofac over failing to prevent bribery between 2012 and 2015 has been postponed to 1 October due to court scheduling, the company said on Monday.

Petrofac said earlier it would plead guilty at a hearing on Monday at Southwark Crown Court in London to seven charges by Britain's Serious Fraud Office (SFO) after a four-year investigation.

Petrofac chairman René Medori said in a statement: "This was a deeply regrettable period of Petrofac's history.
