Jessica Uhl is to stand down as chief financial officer of Shell on 1 April after five years in the post, to be replaced by Sinead Gorman, currently executive vice president of finance in the UK supermajor's upstream business.

Uhl has been with Shell for 17 years and is seen as a key architect of recent strategic shifts, including the simplification of the company’s share structure and the relocation of the corporate headquarters from The Netherlands to the UK.
