Bola Tinubu, the chosen candidate of Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for next year’s presidential election, has outlined plans to improve the country’s shaky power supplies.

Earlier this month, 70-year-old Tinubu, a Muslim southerner and a former governor of Lagos State, was chosen to represent the APC in the 25 February 2023 election, when President Muhammadu Buhari steps down after two terms in office.
