Australian operator Beach Energy has booked a heavy downgrade to its reserves following poorer than expected performance of its Western Flank assets in South Australia’s onshore Cooper basin.

Beach revealed Friday it had booked downgraded its net proven plus probable reserves across its Western Flank assets by 18.4 million barrels of oil equivalent.
