A joint venture between Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) and Calgary-based Suncor Energy is in the market for contractors to rehabilitate vital facilities on the Ghani oilfield, which were badly damaged during the North African nation’s civil war.

A ceasefire has been in place in Libya for the past few months, offering a period of calm that has allowed NOC and overseas oil companies to assess the status of their hydrocarbon assets and embark on plant and equipment repair and replacement work.
