Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates have signed 11 business deals valued at 314.9 trillion rupiah ($23 billion) involving multiple investments in energy and other sectors.

The signing of multiple memorandums of understanding this week were witnessed by Mohamed bin Zayed al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and Joko Widodo, Indonesia’s President, Adnoc said in a statement.

The deals were also announced by Widodo on his Twitter account on Monday.

The agreements include a major deal between Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) and Indonesia’s Pertamina to explore potential development of a crude to petrochemicals complex in Balongan, as well as a separate sales agreement concerning the downstream sector, according to an Adnoc statement.
