Australia’s Woodside Energy is proposing to decommission the remaining facilities at its Enfield oilfield, where production was shut in two years ago.

The Nganhurra floating production, storage and offloading vessel — through which Enfield produced — had been used to flush, isolate and preserve the riser turret mooring (RTM) and subsea infrastructure, before being disconnected and removed from production licence WA-28-L.

Woodside is now looking to inspect, monitor and maintain the RTM, ahead of removing it from the Enfield field off Australia following disconnection of mooring lines.
