The floating production, storage and offloading vessel for Woodside Energy’s delayed Sangomar oil development offshore Senegal is due for delivery in February next year.
Officials and engineers from Senegal’s Ministry of Petroleum & Energy and state oil company Petrosen have just completed a site trip to Singapore's Seatrium yard to check the status of the floater’s construction.
“Today, it is over 90% complete and is expected in Senegalese waters next February, for production to start in June," said the Ministry of Petroleum & Energy on its website, citing Woodside.
