Norway’s Prosafe has secured a new four-year contract with Petrobras for its flotel Safe Eurus to continue operating in Brazilian waters.

Prosafe said it was declared the winner of a Petrobras competitive bidding process for the provision of safety and maintenance support offshore Brazil.

Upstream reported in March that Prosafe was one of six companies that submitted offers in a Petrobras tender in which the Brazilian oil giant was seeking three flotels to carry out work at a number of offshore production platforms in the country.
