Rubicon Offshore is exploring options for the sale of the company and/or its two floating production, storage and offloading vessels.

An expression of interest exercise is open to enable potential buyers to indicate their interest in one of three options — buying the Rubicon Vantage FPSO and the Rubicon Intrepid FPSO including the operating company; buying Rubicon Holdings or its direct subsidiary Rubicon Offshore; the purchase of the two FPSOs.

Braemar ACM Shipbroking and L&R Midland are, on a joint exclusive basis, undertaking the expression of interest, and there is a deadline of 15 May 2020 for submitting an expression of interest.

The Rubicon Intrepid is working at the Galoc oilfield in the Philippines and is due to come off contract this September.

The Rubicon Vantage is working for KrisEnergy at the Wassana field in the Gulf of Thailand and is due to finish up this August. The Vantage has been operating as a floating storage unit.
