Cameroon’s government is carrying out an investigation into the cause of an aircraft crash that resulted in the deaths of all crew and passengers, many of them oil workers.

On 11 May, Cameroon air traffic control lost radio contact with a Caverton Helicopters DHC-6-400 Twin Otter plane that was carrying 11 passengers and crew.

A search-and-rescue operation located the wreckage in rainforest, in the commune of Bibey in central Cameroon.
