US Gulf of Mexico oil and gas production continues its slow recovery nearly two weeks after Hurricane Ida wrecked the Louisiana coast.

Producers have restored about 45,000 barrels per day of oil production and 14.1 million cubic feet of natural gas per day from the previous day, according to the US Bureau of Safety & Environmental Enforcement (BSEE).
