While drilling the Warro-5 well part of the bottom hole assembly became differentially stuck last week.
Transerv said Tuesday that fishing operations were not able to recover the the lower part of the bottom hole assembly and it had instead been cemented into place and the well redirected around it.
It added that the bottom hole assembly left in hole had no radioactive sources, was completely inert and presented no hazard to the environment.
