The contract will see MSI carry out a metocean measurement programme for Twinza at the project which lies 93 metres in the Gulf of Papua, about 200 kilometres west of Port Moresby.
MSI said it had already installed a single subsurface mooring primarily consisting current profilers and tide and CTD loggers.
The company will also gather directional wave measurements using an acoustic wave and current gauge moored 15 metres below the surface.
