Four companies — Bowleven, Noble Energy, Perenco and Sinopec — have signed term sheets to supply gas to a plant to be built at Kribi.
The facility will be designed to produce between 2.5 million tonnes and 3.5 million tonnes per annum, depending on the amount of gas feedstock.
John Brown, finance director at Bowleven, said a smaller facility would require about 450 million cubic feet per day of gas, while a larger plant would need about 650 MMcfd of supplies.
